Disney Princess Jedis

The third costume I wore to Planet Comicon this year was part of a large group merging Disney with Star Wars.  While most of the ladies, including myself, chose the side of good, we had a few Sith involved as well.  (That's me in front as Snow White!)

For Jedi Snow White, I chose a design combining the two natures of Disney and Jedi.  I went with fancier fabrics (satins instead of muslin or gauze) and bright colors.  I made the corset, under shirt, hood, wrap, and sleeves out of satin, the pants are a stretch knit.  I did not make the snood (sad, I know).  I also didn't make my saber, but I did bedazzle the hell out of it.  I also altered my boots (you can't see it in this photo) so that they had a bow burned into the tops to match Snow White's shoes.  I really want to make a gold wrap skirt instead of pants and try it with my crazy wig down.  Good thing I have another photo shoot for this in April.
